A spellbook falls at your feet... use its cards to rule the world!

WizCARDS is a wave-survival card game where you play as a wizard warring against the world. Encounter a range of enemies and develop a strategy to defeat each one.

To defeat your foes, you must open card packs and empower your spellbook. Packs may contain cards or powerful relics, but only one can be received. The Dealer only gives cards to those whom he deems worthy, so choose wisely!

Updates v0.4.H - Hallowed Hunter

Get ready to embrace the spooky season in the Hallowed Hunter update! With a new boss and a new game mode, this update aims to bring some seasonal fun to the world of WizCards before its next major content release.

  • New Boss: Dullah the Headless
    • Despite missing a head, it seems as though she may see right through your plans.
    • Available in every game mode
  • New Game Mode: Hallow Hunt
    • Survive 13 levels against a horde of ghoulish enemies and face Dullah's ultimate form.
    • New  exclusive enemies
      • Zombie - Slowly walks towards your house and spits venom from a distance
      • Ghoul - Flies towards your base, dodging ground-based attacks
      • Lupan- Dashes towards its target once damaged.
      • Pumpkin Head- Tracks you and explodes before death
  • New boss item
    • Relic: Candy Basket 
      • Heals 10 health whenever you level up.
  • Nerfed Butcher's Curse
    • Meatman health : 20 -> 15
    • Butcher's Curse health: 35 -> 30
  • General updates
    • Added particle effects to screen borders
    • Allowed screen resizing in windowed mode.

Great game!  Solid idea, well executed!  I like the different card effects and I found it fairly fun to click on the little characters.  The presentation is great but I think a couple more level decorations would do wonders for the game visually.  I also found it a little hard to play cards when the house is overrrun.

Thanks for playing and thanks for the feedback. I recently pushed an update to the control system that lets cards be used more easily and also makes the difficulty scaling a bit more fair. I also agree that the presentation could use some more work. I hope you can check this game out again in the future!
